title: "Hair-do". I made a personal series of 15 pictures and "Hair-do"is one of these images. In this recent series called "Inside/Outside", my models both show their inside and outside. It's a reaction to the cosmetic industry, the makable body is within reach for whoever wants to pay the price. But what is beauty if we all meet up to the same ideal of never-ending youth and unnatural perfection. My work is a process of reconstruction, arranging the photographs I take of my models. I do not strive for sterile perfection, the refinement of the image is imposed in the absence of the ideal.
