Expressions of Time - Photographic images by Julie Hamilton.

These photographs were taken in the world famous Paris cemetery, Pere Lachaise. This cemetery is often referred to as the " City of Sepulcres". It is also the repository of many artisans who created the strange and interesting memorials and sculptures there.
It is part of my study on the subject of time;and how the passing of time itself is evident and can create beautiful transformations in the smallest of details. It is also a study of how people like to leave their mark after they have departed this life, and, how those still here,
remember their loved ones...a poignant reminder of our own mortality.

I am currently seeking a publisher for this book.
