This shot shows the beauty of the nature in Haiti. We travelled by foot and on horseback and then had to wade through a river. We couldn’t complete the final two feet to the waterfall so were advised to call on the village’s ‘rope man'.
A few of the original colonial hotels still exist across Haiti, albeit in a state of faded grandeur.
The vibrant colours of Haitian houses is in a stark contrast to the dry and arrid landscape.
I was invited to see a local school by the headmaster who was keen to show me the schools achievements.
I really liked the retro feel. In much of Haiti, time seems to have stood still.
