ABOUT WORK

Alexander is a Canadian born photographer who has based himself in London after spending 3 years traveling throughout Europe, Oceania and Asia. His work is informed by the poignancy of everyday life and he focuses his lens on the moments that are often missed, imbuing them with meaning through his own unique way of seeing. He shoots with a photojournalistic style, capturing the essence of the event and creating a narrative in each shot. The name Ostia! was chosen, as it is Alexander's favorite word learned while living in Barcelona. It is used as an exclamation by the people of that city when something extraordinary requires it.
