ABOUT WORK

I have a few obsessions when it comes to what I like to create with my photography. I love moody, dark images...but images that can be beautiful while still have a lot of mood and darkness to them. I also am obsessed with taking photographs of the sky. I use these sky images in my landscapes quite often to help achieve that moody and dark look.

A lot (but not all) of my landscapes and fine art is composite work. Usually it is just a matter of replacing the sky in the photograph, but sometimes it is a little more. Ultimately photography is an art, and if it takes two or three separate images that I have taken to make my vision come alive than that is what I do.

CAREER

I currently operate as a professional wedding, portrait, and commercial photographer. I have always been keen on photographer ever since school and I thought about going to university for it. Instead though, I joined the military and photography went to the back burner for awhile.

After the military I started to get back into photography, and my other passion music. I had always found it hard to keep a band together, so I started photographing bands. This found it's way into making photography my full time profession.

My favourite things to do are band promo and editorial work as well as landscapes and creating art.
