AWARDS

Nigel Hillier won the `Landscape On Your Doorstep` category in the 2009 Landscape photographer of the year competition. He had 2 prints commended both of which will be in the awards book. One print will be in the exhibition to be held in London`s National Theatre in December. He was also an award winner in the 2009 'Shot Up North' photography competition; a showcase of the best in professional photography. Two images, were selected from hundreds of entries from professional photographers based in the north of the UK. One photograph, entitled 'Trees', was awarded 3rd overall best image and also selected for the Shot Up North Special Edition. Another image entitled 'Snow Horse', was selected for the 2009 SUN exhibition which opened at the Matt & Phreds venue in Tib Street, Manchester.
