ABOUT WORK

Creative, Fashion, Beauty, Editorial, Studio Photography by Daniel Moncur-Sime  Based in London, UK and available internationally, Daniel’s intention is always to be creative. His first camera was at 8 years old and has always appreciated the creativity offered by this artistic medium. He always strives for his images to attract attention, stimulate desire and promote an action. Today he works across the UK for various clients and also continuously works on his own creative fashion concepts, searching to work with inspirational and like minded creative people on exciting projects.

CAREER

1995 - after leaving college I bought a bankrupt high street comic and games shop.
1999 - left having successfully turning it into a profit making enterprise.

Based in Manchester from 1999 to 2001,
1999 - Synergy Business Systems as field sales and marketing agent.
2000-01 - LBM as Business Development Manager.

2002 - returned to Hereford Art College for HND/BA photography to take up his photography and art passion once more.

2003 - started own commercial studio business.

2004 - left art college early as they weren't allowing for development of his commercial skills fast enough.

And notable highlights are:

2004 - commissioned by UK's largest independant international cider makers Westons & Sons to produce 125th year anniversary hardcover book.

2005 - featured fashion photographer on TV's documentary 'Make Me A Supermodel'

2005 - became Iona Legge-Bourke's trusted personal family and fashion business photographer.

2005 - produced the face images for England Rugby player Jarrod Cunninghmans Celebrity Salsa Fashion Show at Cafe de Paris, London. supporting his MS charity.

2006 - worked with British Olympic Association designing presentations for Sir Clive Woodward's performance development department.

2006 - produced the team memorabilia for JCB's DieselMax land-speed record breaking car team.

2006 - left London for an easy life as a landscape gardener for a summer.

2006 - first art exhibition in Hereford
2007 - first photographer to exhibit at Lord Bath's Longleat Summer Art Show

2007 - gained UK largest independent care home provider, Caring Homes as a client

2009 - returned to the world of fashion with new portfolio and international fashion clients, About Face, Bioworld, Charming and more.

2010 - set goal to have 10 national magazine covers. By february had 4 covers already published and gained commission to produce further 8 for VIVA magazine in 2010.
