CAREER

Ross Andersson began his career as a fine artist, studying painting, filmmaking and photography. After earning his Fine Arts degree, he devoted several years to travel, odd jobs and his obsession with old motorcycles before discovering his passion for the world of fashion photography. Since arriving on the national advertising scene in 2006, Ross continues to distinguish himself as a top tier fashion & beauty photographer - focused on creating intense and iconic imagery. His recent clients include Macy�s, Mia and Maxx, Regis and L�Anza Hair Care. His work has won several Awards in the cosmetics and hair industry including the 2006 Grand Prize at the prestigious NAHA Awards. Recently, Ross was honored to receive two, 2009 APA Awards. His fashion submission titled, The Berlin Project, earned 1st Place recognition in the fashion category. He was also chosen as the 2009 APA Grand Prize Winner for his fine art landscape series titled; The Mezzanine Project. HORIZONLINE documents the world of amateur boxing, at risk - inner city youth and the local heroes who bring new skills and opportunities to kids with little chance for success outside of the mean streets - where drugs, violence and poverty are a constant threat.
