	Commended Saunders,Leonora Isle of Jura- These photographs were taken in Craighouse bay during the last minutes of the sunset. The water was completely flat, the only ripples came from the dipping of our oars. I wanted to convey the incredible stillness of the water and the beautiful reflections of the sky.

Lake Samish is nestled in the very northwest corner of Washington State USA near the Canadian. border. I have had the privilige to experience her varied changes thru several season 's. This is some of the finest scenery the Pacificnorthwest has to offer.
